I have a special group of customers who will be using a specific link to access a custom landing page that I will create on my xcart site. I need to make several modifications for the users using this specific link to access my site.
1.Checkout should bypass login authentication, since these users will be temporary and will not need a login for my store. Orders should be added to my database, but users should not be added to customer database.
2. I will create a custom landing page which will contain a modified shopping cart graphic (to hide login fields). Users will need to see this cart instead of my current cart on all category pages, etc.
3. Checkout process should be turned into 2 steps, eliminating one step from my current process. First step of checkout process should be modified to only include fields for personal information, contact information, billing address, and fields for arrival date and time. Page 2 of process should include current cart totals and credit card info fields. I also have a tipping function which will need to be added to this 2nd page of checkout (Essentially this will eliminate one page of my current checkout by removing my delivery scheduling function and adding my tipping function to the last step of checkout).
After using custom link, users should be able to browse all categories normally but still arrive at this modified checkout process. Please be prepared to explain in detail how you will accomplish all tasks.
