Were looking to hire the installation of Magento and Joomla (both with extensions) on a fresh Rackspace server. We can do the installation ourselves (and have before) but we do not have experience with Apache security so we are looking for someone who does. The initial setup would include following the security checklists for Joomla and Magento and making any necessary changes to the server. In addition to the initial install we’d also like to find someone we could work with us long term to keep versions and patches up to date for the extensions and the main applications.
Ideally we’d like to find someone who is already doing this for other clients, and is already following security/exploit feeds – this would allow us to review references for the same type of work. We want someone that has been doing this for a while and plans to continue doing it for some time to come. Good communication skills are a must.
Direct experience with Joomla, Magento, and the server settings that Rackspace dedicated hosting uses are not all necessary but that is ultimately what we’d like to see.
Please provide quotes for the initial setup/install as well as a monthly retainer for continues services.
