I am doing a simple but tasteful birthday website for my girlfriend. I’m on a small budget as this is just a gift of a different kind since she is least expecting it.
The website will require some flash and graphical design. If the site will look cheesy please don’t bother taking on the project. I have no problem placing the funds in escrow and releasing once I am satisfied with the design and final product. Also note, as a special incentive, once this birthday passes I will once again use the winner to complete the design with whatever she now wants. So there’s more work ahead.
This first phase must be completed and delivered by November 22 or 23rd.
Here’s the concept.
As you hit the web page it should read:
Line 1 – Her Name
Line 2 – Happy Birthday Baby!
Line 3 – I hope you have a beautiful day
Line 4 – and
Line 5 – I’m sorry I can’t be there.
Line 6 – Love you in “31” ways!
Now Click to blow out your special birthday cake
and see the surprise.
PS – Baby www.HerName.us is now your own domain!
When she clicks to see the birthday cake another page is revealed with a nicely decorated cake, back drop with balloons, the age on top of the cake, 31 lit candles. See the links below of what I have in mind.
A message or note will tell her to click each of the 31 candles simulating she’s blowing them out. Once all 31 candles are out it takes her to the surprise.
The surprise is a “Her Name Birthday Mix CD” page where I’ve compiled a list of songs which she can click to play each. I have the source for all the song tracks.
A link will be available to download the songs in ISO format for anyone to burn her birthday CD.
On the page is a section for people to leave a birthday comment (perhaps Facebook comments).

The website will require a name / logo as the domain name will be her name.
Her name and domain will be provided to the winning bidder.
This design could be just one Flash movie.
