I am a data entry operator who works from home. My name is Leonard Skinthorpe Jr and I live and work in Australia. The content you are reading right now is the actual data I enter. The purpose of this website is to showcase my employment story for the world to see. It is not my intention to sell anything to anyone or to promise to show them how to start their own data entry business online. My sole objective is to tell my tale and practice my typing in the process. If someone reads my testimony and feels inspired to work at home in some capacity, that’s great. I have every right to call myself a home-based data entry clerk. First of all, I work from an office inside my house, and secondly I type content for this website and others every day of the week. Every word I type is data I am entering. Just because the data I enter is made up on the spot as I type, doesn’t make it any less valid than the information someone based in an office is entering into a spreadsheet or database for an employer. I guess it all comes down to semantics, how you define ‘data entry’ and how determined you are to be successful in your chosen career.
