Wanting a flash piece designing that will embed MathML and SVG’s. My site currently uses ASCIIMathML, but this can be converted fairly easily using a javascript to MathML. Both MathML and SVG’s can be displayed using flash if I am not mistaken.
Here is what the flash should do;
The flash should pull the questions from the database and put them into a variety of formats;
1. A single question at the top of the screen with white space below and previous and next buttons at the bottom of the page.
2. Three questions spread out on the screen (top left, middle middle, bottom right) with answer buttons that reveal each answer separately.
3. Timed questions where the flash will pull one question at a time. This will include a timer that the user can set (allow between 1 and 60 seconds) / turn on / turn off with the next question being shown when the time is up or if the timer is off then a next and previous button. The next and previous buttons will override the timer if the timer is set. After the last question is displayed then display all the answers to the questions.
4. A screen that takes questions from users selection and fits in as many questions as possible (whilst still looking well presented). Next and Previous buttons will display the next set of questions. An answers button will display the answers on top of the questions when pressed.
Questions will be selected from the main site at www.maths.ac and I do not require you to integrate the flash with the database but to provide an api or method that will take the questions once selected and then display them.
Thanks,
Richard
