I’ve a WordPress 2.7 running WP eCommerce 3.7.6.1 from Instinct and it’s working flawlessly in Mozilla, Safari and Chrome.
The problem I’m having is that when the site is loaded in Internet Explorer (to my knowledge, this happens to ALL VERSIONS) , the site will be unresponsive for around 20-30 seconds before it finally be responsive again and works normally.
Now, this is not the sort of user experience I want my visitors to experience – and I’ve tried everything from using parallel image distribution, minifying CSS and JS, turning all JS off, even turning most of the plugins off, but for some reason the problem is not going away.
This website needs to be up and running urgently so I’ll make sure whoever can solve this problem will be happy with their payment.
