Send Party Invitation Email To Friends And Track Response

We want to create an online Birthday Party invitation system. It is called eJambo. It will be an electronic invitation similar to evite.com.
Let’s say you are planning a birthday for your son and you want to invite everyone in his class. You can send them
invitations by mail (soooo old school) or you can send email invitations and manage them electronically (eJambo). We want to incorporate a similar item into our website. We will call it eJambo! The project is already started but need to be completed.
Please visit www.JamboPark.com/ejambo/ejambo.php to see how far it got. It is connected to a mySQL database.

{{{
Welcome to eJambo – Jambo! Park’s Electronic Invitation.
eJambo allows you to electronically invite your friends & family to Jambo!
Park. Having a Birthday Party? Or are you just having a get together or
Playdate? Why not electronically invite everone to join you at Jambo! Park
in Phoenix or in Mesa. You can send and manage your invites & RSVPs
online. It’s fast, friendly, fabulous, and FREE.

Please login to continue:

Username: _________
Password: _________

Are you new to eJambo? You can sign up here____. Sign up is fast,
friendly, fabulous, and FREE too.
}}}

Returning customers will enter their username & password and the system
will pull their eJambo home page.

Page 2 (Sign up):
New customers will enter their info here to sign up. Once they sign up,
the system will send them a confirmation email with a link to verify their
email address. Once they click the link on their email, they become a
returning customer and can now log in with their username & password.

{{{
Name: First*________ Last:___________
Address:_______________________________
Phone:_________________________________
email*:________________________________
<Submit>

*=required
A confirmation email will be sent to you once you hit submit. Please
verify your email and you can start using eJambo immediately.
}}}

Page 3 (eJambo Home Page):
Their eJambo home page will contain 3 sections: Create a new eJambo;
Current eJambo; Previous eJambo.

Page 3a (Create a new eJambo).
This is the 1st page of creating a new eJambo. We’ll call it page 3a.
{{{

Title: (Doesn’t go on invitation; just a name to call this eJambo in the
system)
Heading:(Drop down option or enter your info)__________
(example = Justin is turning 5; It’s Celebration time; You’re invited to
Justin’s Party)

Subheading:(Drop down option or enter your info)__________
(Please join us as we celebrate; We’d love it if you can come)

Party Date (date picker):_______________
Party Time: _______________
Where: (drop down option “Jambo Park in Phoenix” OR “Jambo Park in Mesa”
with the address but NO option to enter own info)
RSVP by (date picker):___________
RSVP to:__________________
}}}

Now, we’ll take all these info and use them to populate the templates on
page 4a

Page 4a (Template Page):
This page has {{{Please select template}}} and displays all our available
templates with the info from previous page (3a) already inside. This way
they can see what their eJambo will look like on each template. Once they
pick which template, they proceed to page 5a.

Page 5a (enter email recipients):
{{{Please enter the names & email addresses of everyone you’re inviting}}}

They can enter name & email individually or copy & paste into a box or
select from their address book of people they’ve invited to other eJambo.
Name is optional but email is required.

Page 6a (review):
Review selected template, party info entered, email recepients and press
<SEND> if accurate.

Now the system sends the eJambo to every email they entered. The email is
the template they picked with the info they entered but with tracking
codes so the recepients can directly from the email RSVP “Yes”,

“No”, or “Maybe” and can also enter comments in a box and hit submit.
There should also be a box with how many kids and how many adults are
comming. Also gives them a chance to change their response at any time by
resubmiting (overrides their previous response).

Back to page 3 (eJambo Home Page)

Page 3b (Current eJambo):
This section of the eJambo home page will contain a summary of stats for
current eJambo and a link to see more info or to manage current eJambo.
Stats will include:

Page 4b (Current eJambo Details):
This page will have all the 3b info but more details like names of those
who RSVP’d already and what their response were and those who didn’t RSVP
yet. It will also allow user to resend eJambo or updates to either all
invited or a group (like only those who didn’t respond or only those who
responded yes, or no). This could also be a place to send thank you eJambo
to those who attended after the party is over.

Page 3c (Previous eJambo)
Back to eJambo home page. This will just list the titles of all previous
eJambo sent so they can view or manage them.
