A previously coded (VB6) educational software package (the previous coder used Visual Studio 6 and used access databases) – requires finalising by adding to the installation process a serial number dialogue checker which links to a web site where the serial number is checked, then if the serial number is valid through a true/false check – it activates the software and begins the software install routine.
The Software (.EXE) in VB6 – also needs some changes and a simple bug fix done.
The software comes as a full package of educational games but is broken up into 3 modules and the full package – so the above code will need to be repeated (copied/pasted) 4 times.
We are looking for an experienced programmer who is expert in VB6 and database – who can find a solution to the serial number checking by coding to and from our website using CPanel access and possibly MySQL on the hosted website.
We will need to have a signed NDA – and when this is approved we can send the source code and a working example of the software – to familiarise you with the requirement.
