I have a test website running one of the free WOO themes. I want to make changes to the theme, but rather than changing the core theme, as I have done on my main site, which runs this theme, I want those changes made as a child theme, under WordPress 3.0.
So it is quite simple, if you know child themes!
1 – create child theme
2 – look at the main site and with the instructions I give you, make the test site look just like the main site, but using a child theme
The changes were primarily simple changes to the PHP, and were done previously through Scriptlance quite quickly. I would attempt it myself, but I haven’t looked at child themes under WP3, and am, as usual very busy!
