I need a cloaking script done quickly. I have included all features that would be great to have, but the only real requirements are the IP and referral redirect ability.
It would be really nice to have some sort of control panel where it was basically a form you filled out with options. After selecting and setting up the options, it would export the cloaking code you need to add to your pages.
1 – redirect based upon referrer
– Add referrers into a list, then define what page to show
them.
– Also define if blank referrers should be redirected to page
and which one if so
– Ability to easily add or remove referrer sources
– Add referrers that are an exception to all referrer rules
2 – redirect based upon geo location
– The ability to redirect users from a defined geo-location
to a defined page.
– Could define this by city, state, region, zip….and radius
around a zip
– Add IPs that would be an exception for geo-redirects
3 – redirect based upon specific IP
– Could define any IP to redirect, and to what page
– Ability to collect the IPs of users throughout the funnel
so that if they return after “buying” or visiting a specific
page, we could show them a specific page (this option would
export a snippet to paste onto the page where we wanted to
collect IP addresses.”
– Ability to redirect to specific page based upon the number
of visits from a specific IP. In other words, redirect if
user has visited page X times.
– Add IP exception that won’t get redirected
4 – redirect based upon the browser
– Ability to serve different pages to different users based
on what browser they are in (FF, IE, Chrome, Opera, other)
– Define redirect page for each browser
5 – redirect based on cookies
– Ability to redirect to specific page based on if the
user has a specific cookie(s) installed
6 – Overall exception
– Ability to add an IP that will be excluded from ALL cloaking
All of these rules should be modular. Meaning, I could setup multiple cloaking rules for one page. There should be a way to define priority for each rule in case of a conflict.
