I am looking for a fantasy league style website for horse racing.
It needs to work as follows:
User enters unique ID, followed by the 4 selections and a captcha image. After the submit button is clicked, the data is emailed to an address as well as being added to the database.
There will be an admin area where admins can add entries on behalf of users. Every admin that adds entries gets paid by each entry, so an easy way of identifying how many entries each admin enters would be required
At the end of the day the race results are entered by a super administrator and a different types of league tables would be generated.
These would include an overall league table, a league table per admin, a league table based on country/location of entrants
Each horse race will have approx 15 runners (but this will vary). There will be 4 races a day over 4 days.
Points will be awarded to the entrants as follows:
First Place Horse 20 points
Second Place Horse 11 points
Third Place Horse 7 points
Fourth Place Horse 3 points
I would need to be able to generate statistics on each race i.e. The number of times each horse has been selected by users
The site will be created in PHP/MySQL
If open source CMS such as Joomla is used, that is fine
