This project is for a completed, tested and bug free wordpress theme sliced and created from the given PSD files I have.
The navigation bars at the top need to be text based and not images so that future links can be added/removed/edited. The roll over/current link format is included in the psd.
The featured box is a jQuery box that rotates every 5 seconds.
the featured article box images and smaller preview images should be controlled and editable in the wp-admin.
The homepage content image on the left should also be controlled from wp-admin. The posted by image/icon should pull and insert the avatar from the associated author/user.
The homepage content area should also be dynamic – the content area should grow depending on when or if the more tag is inserted into the post and how many comments the article has already – check the homepage layout and see how the 3 sample posts differ – the second one has no comments and displays no comments yet image, and the third article has more text content than the other 2.
There should be a navigation tab at the bottom after the content so users can view previous posts.
For the right column widgets, most of those are standard and the ads can be inserted using the php widget wordpress plugins. The login box can just link to the site.com/member/login.php and site.com/member/register.php for now.
The homepage footer widget section should use the widget to pull the most popular posts based on views/comments at the bottom left – the current site is using the popular post plugin already but some modifications are needed to pull the associated article image.
The content section of the homepage and inner page should all be fully working – Margins and appearance should be preserved and the text should be correctly formatted including comment section, lists, quotation marks, and numbered lists.
Any text or images should have relevant CSS styles developed.
Theme should validate through w3c checker.
No text should be shown as “images”
