we are looking for a graphic designer to jump onboard and work with us on a new widely commercial website project.
Our programmers are already coding the actual software for the website, what we need is a skin (with css).
The bid is for:
– Home page
– standard member’s page
You will have to come up with the concept for the skin of this website (following our rough guidelines) and we will ask you to submit at least 3 mockups for the home page before we start working on it.
PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE A CREATIVE DESIGNER. WE DO NOT WANT A COOKIE CUTTER WEBSITE, SO JUMP ONBOARD IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO SHOW OFF YOUR ORIGINALITY!
Here is a briefing of what we need.
– web 2 (large fonts, text fields etc)
– very fast loading (no overly heavy graphics)
– easy to read (white background for text)
– mobile phone compatible
– created with css
– navigation menu with css
– NOT a boring corporate looking design
– creative and unique design
The idea for the website is simple. It’s a free lottery where members have a chance to win cash prizes every day via email. There are also cash lotteries they can play online.
The company name has the word ‘chocolate’ in it and the whole website has to evock ‘chocolate’.
The lotteries, the games, everything will have some kind of (fun) associacion with chocolate.
So for the home page you’ll be using images of chocolate bars, melted chocolate (for the logo for example) etc.
Rememeber though. We are not selling chocolate! The site is a free lottery and the chocolate is just a fun gimmick!
There will be a top part (with logo and nav buttons) and a main part, for content (which in the members’ area will host the dynamic content of the site, i.e. the games).
The main part of the site in the home page will have very little text but will show visitors what the site is about with a large image, or possibly a flash presentation (not part of this project).
The main part of the site in the member’s area will have to also host a second menu, on the left hand side – vertically.
