This widget allows you to have a mailing list whether you do or do not have a MySQL database!
The subscribed users are added to an XML file by PHP , this XML file is never directly called by flash so it is securely stored. (Give the XML file a bizarre name and it will be even more secure)
Once a user adds their name to your mailing list they are automatically sent a HTML email. When a user subscribes to your website, that is the time you want to show them your latest products, services etc – the HTML email lets you do this in style!
A template is also included for you to use and edit. Head over to the preview to see a screenshot of the email and why not use the widget to take a look at the mail for yourself!
If you don’t like the email template we are providing, this widget is fully compatible with ANY email template, including the ones available over at themeforest!
XML Config
- Edit the icon in the top left
- Edit the ‘Subscribe!’ text
- Edit the ‘Receive news and updates via email!’ text
BONUS : The HTML email sent out automatically includes an ‘unsubscribe’ link which can easily be inplemented into another HTML email template if you wish!
