IPManager is an online IT CRM , including a full featured Ticketing System and Knowledge Base.
It allows you to provide a customer portal to your clients. They can log Support Tickets, read Knowledge Base articles, view News and more all from the secure client portal.
IPManager provides a powerful yet easy to use admin interface for your staff. They can manage their own personal To-Do List, reply to Tickets, store Files, keep track of Software Licenses and much much more.
Key IPManager Features
Clients and Companies
IPManager is designed to allow multiple users (Clients) from the same Company to login and manage their tickets. You can now give your larger customers better visibility into their support requests.
There are two User Group profiles built into IPManager that are designed for this.
Company Manager and Company Employee.
A user in the Company Employee group can only view/update their own tickets.
While a user in the Company Manager group can view all tickets for their assigned Company.
The Companies structure not only works for Tickets but all through out IPManager (such as the Computers storage section).
Ticketing System
The Ticketing System in IPManager includes all the features required to quickly manage your support requests.
Some of these features include:
- Clients can Create and Reply to Tickets by Email (using POP3 ).
- File Attachment Support (files can be imported from Emails and Attached via the Web Interface).
- Mass Close/Open/Merge Tickets.
- Basic Custom Fields
- Admin can assign tickets to Staff.
- WordPress plugin to allow users to submit tickets straight from your WordPress website
- Clients can receive email notifications when their ticket is updated.
Knowledge Base
IPManager provides a simple Knowledge Base system that allows you to easily publish articles to your clients using the built in WYSIWYG .
You can also attach files to these Articles that clients can download.
Computers and Devices
IPManager allows you to easily keep track of your customers computers. You can create a unique asset tag for each device and then easily look up the computer or device via the search box.
You can attach License Keys to Computers, Text Configurations to Devices and even link in Cacti to view your traffic graphs.
File Storage
IPManager has a global file storage system for all your files. This allows you to easily track each file. You can even reuse files by attaching them to multiple objects (companies, clients, computers etc).

Security
IPManager has a number of security features built in.
- Client passwords are heavily encrypted using a dual salt SHA512 system.
- IPManager logs changes and login attempts. You can easily view these via the System -> Events menu.
- Bound SQL Parameters to reduce the chance of SQL injection attacks
- Active Directory support for your Staff.

User Groups
IPManager provides a customisable user permission system allowing you to modify the existing profiles with your own.
API
IPManager provides a SOAP Web Service that allows you to integrate it into your existing systems. Both the iPhone Application and WordPress plugin use this API .
