Description
The Post Countdown WordPress Plugin is a unique countdown concept for WordPress. Rather than a widget to display the countdown to a specified date, the Post Countdown plugin will rewrite the post dates for posts in a specified category from the default date “January 12, 2011” to the countdown date “12 days to go.”
When the deadline has passed, retrospective descriptions are used, such as “2 days ago” or “Yesterday.” Posts not in the specified category show the standard date.
Features Include:
- Change standard timestamp for WordPress posts to reflect number of days until an event occurs.
- Event date and Category are customizable through the standard WordPress administrative interface.
- Posts not in selected category are not affected.
Server Requirements
This plugin has been written for, and tested on WordPress 3.x. Any other versions of WordPress are not guaranteed to work at this time.
Can be tweaked/modified once purchased if you know the PHP language.
