It is meant to represent the sounds of war and combat and heavy machinery in land, sea air or even space. About the mood, picture an army facing their opponent in the battlefield as they line up to confront each other. The idea of war elephants like the ones used against Rome were an inspiration for this piece.
The sample begins by opening a music box. Children’s voices appear in a playground. We are imbued with the emotion of that moment and close the box. We return to our reality with a sense of fullness.
