4 frosted glass materials for V-Ray!

These frosted glass materials offer a high quality with fast render times. They’re great for use in architectural visualization scenes.

You can apply the material to flat window panes or any other kinds of objects to give you nice results.

The 4 variations included give you great freedom by being able to choose between tinted/less tinted and lighter/heavier versions.
Created in 3ds max 2011 and V-Ray SP4a.

Included files in the downloaded archive are the .mat file, the .max scene of the preview image and a .pdf manual.

I’ve worked to provide high aesthetic quality and useful imagery — beautiful presentation materials, if you are going that route — and just pleasant to look at and work with.

Note: The Photoshop files use Adobe’s Lithos Pro font (has shipped with Photoshop for many years, so you probably have it). As an alternate, all-caps Helvetica will work.
There is also some use of the Copperplate font. However it’s limited to the major Title text, and raster versions of those layers are included.

Low Poly Base Mesh Female (Female)

This package contains 2 versions of a low poly female base mesh (with toes and without). The mesh consists of 100% quads and is optimized for sculpting with even poly distribution and slightly higher poly concentrations in areas of high detail like the face. The clean edge flow makes it easy to modify the mesh and make conform fitting clothes. It is also a great starting point for low poly game characters.

The UV layout is optimized for use in game projects. The texture space is used in an optimal way and the straight layout makes it easy to create clothes and texture variations and swap them around. It is a similar technique to what Blizzard uses for World of Warcraft.

This base mesh is sure to quickly get you started on a new character model be it for a low poly game or a high poly sculpt project.

Balls (Sports)

5great sports balls – Basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and tennis. Super high resolution and highly detailed textures; color maps, displacement maps…

The textures are 200×1000px PSDs, made with vectors and smart objects; easily customizable.

Balls are icosahedron spheres; displacement does the geometry job. While the scene is in Cinema 4d, any other 3D software could be used to get the same results. An instruction file is included, with all the displacement settings to get the same results as in the preview.
