The 3D model was created on real car base. It’s created accurately, in real units of measurement, qualitatively and maximally close to the original.

Speedometer Gauge for Auto/Truck Instrument Panel (Engines and Parts)

This is a 3D model of a speedometer gauge inspired from the dashboard of a 2001 Honda Accord EX. The needle is animatable and linked via Xpresso to the speed displayed on the LCD screen. Room is made on the LCD screen for a small line of custom text. Just as a car’s instrument panel can be lit and dimmed, this model is rigged to have a ‘nighttime’ setting also.

The model is very high-quality so it is accurate in close-ups. You can drop this model right into a dashboard or use it on its own to simulate ‘Speed!’ and ‘Change!’ The textures are included as well as links to download the free fonts used in the project.
