True-Color Venus Texture (CG Textures)

if you’re looking for a realistic, true-color Venus texture, then
look no further!

Nearly all commercially available Venus textures are based on X-Ray images, which show the rocky surface of the terrestrial planet. They look great, but Venus is covered in a dense layer of clouds that make it all but impossible to see the surface from space.

As I wasn’t able to find a suitable texture for realistic views of Venus from space, I decided to make my own! This hand-crafted texture has been modelled on true-color images taken by the mariner 10 probe back in 1974. If you’re looking to make visually accurate space animations and images, then this is a must-have image in your texture library!

Diffuse, bump and normal maps are included, all in jpg, png and psd formats. The psd consists of one flattened layer.

Only the textures are included, the NASA image and the 3D rendering used in the preview image are not included.

Fantasy lamp. When you press on “nuclear mushroom” it Imitates explosion. There is also a table on a rocket leg. Top of the table has the image of a goal (darts). The “explosion” support has curved and florid forms, that show distortion from explosion. There are little lights on the ends of support brenches.
