Pluto Texture (CG Textures)

If you’re looking for a high quality texture of Pluto for your 3D renderings, then look no further!

This high resolution texture has been created from several composite images, to produce a high quality texture that you can use for your animations and still images. This is an ‘artists impression’ at the moment… no high resolution imagery of Pluto has yet been captured at the date of posting, but I’m intending to update this item as the New Horizons probe starts sending back detailed imagery… to ensure the texture reflects the actual visual appearance of the dwarf planet. Watch this space!

So if you’re looking to make high quality renders of the upcoming arrival of the New Horizons space probe at Pluto, then this item will be a must have addition to your texture library. Diffuse, bump and normal maps are included, all in JPG, PSD, and PNG formats. The PSD consists of just one flattened layer. 4000×2000 pixels.

Only the textures are included, the 3D rendering used in the preview image is not included.
