This is the Simple PasswordScreen application. In this application we will see how to PassWordScreen display after pressing button. So lets see how it will worked.

Step 1: Open the Xcode, Create a new project using View Base application. Give the application “PasswordScreen”.

Step 2: Xcode automatically creates the directory structure and adds essential frameworks to it. You can explore the directory structure to check out the content of the directory.

Step 3: Expand classes and notice Interface Builder created the ViewController class for you. Expand Resources and notice the template generated a separate nib, PasswordScreenViewController.xib for the PasswordScreen application.

Step 4: Open the PasswordScreenViewController.h file and make the following changes:

Step 5: Double click the PasswordScreenViewController.xib file and open it to the interface builder. First drag the two label from the library and place it to the view window, select the label and bring up attribute inspector change the labels name into “Name” and “Details”. Drag two textfield and one round rect button from the library and place it to the view window. Now connect File’s Owner icon to the first TextField and select “userName” , do it once more for second TextField and select “password”. Select the round rect button and bring up Connection Inspector, connect Touch up Inside to the File’s Owner icon and select “PasswordAlert”. Save the .sib file, close it , and go back to the Xcode.

Step 6: Open the PasswordScreenViewController.m file and make the following changes in the file:

Step 7: Now compile and run the application on the simulator.

Smule’s latest app is called MadPad. It’s somewhat similar to Harmonix’s VidRhythm in that you can take regular everyday sounds and turn them into music. But instead of combining sounds into a premade video, the app will turn sounds into different parts of an instrument, which you can then play with impunity. You can mix your own sets or use a series of premade sets from various musicians. You can use the created instrument to make songs or share sets on Twitter, Facebook, or over email.

Smule has created a quality app here, and while it’s not quite as easy as VidRhythm, in the hands of capable musicians, MadPad can make something special. It’s available on the iPhone for 99 cents or in HD on the iPad for $2.99.

The sense of something coming soon grows stronger, as AllThingsD cites “sources close to the situation” saying that Apple’s next media event will be held October 4. The hypothetical event, for which no invitations have yet been issued, would presumably be the venue where the next generation of the iPhone is announced to the world. Those same or similar sources also told ATD’s John Paczkowski that the new phone would ship several weeks after the event.

As important as the iPhone announcement is to Apple’s performance over the next year, the host of the event is equally important. ATD says, unsurprisingly, that Tim Cook will be presiding over the announcement presentation. The newly promoted CEO will have some big shoes to fill on the presentation side, but no word yet whether he’s planning to don the ceremonial black sweater.

We judge this report largely credible; it correlates with the dates that have been bandied about, and ATD usually has good sources (some via the elder statesman of the tech beat, Uncle Walt Mossberg). Mark your calendars.

Ghostwriter Notes for the iPad is a note-taking solution that’ll let you scribble your thoughts or jot down the highlights of a lecture on your tablet device. The app uses the idea of a virtual notebook to store your writings and lets you create an unlimited number of these notebooks. You can customize these notebooks and the pages within by naming them and changing the backgrounds with paper templates or background images.

Writing on each page is simple and easy – all you need is your finger or a stylus. The text is predictably large when you use your finger, but it can be scaled down to normal size using a magnification view (shown above) for writing. When you choose a pen, a box appears at the top of the page and a magnified view of that region appears at the bottom of your display. You can write in this zoomed-in region and the text appears at the top.

It’s a little awkward but it does help you write more clearly and lets you use the entire page of the notes. This magnified view only works with the pen. If you choose the text box, markers or highlighters for writing, then you will write on the full page without any magnification.

Ghostwriter also supports PDF files, so you can easily annotate and save these files. When you are done writing or editing, you can sync your notes to Dropbox or Evernote. You can also send them via email or print them wirelessly.

Ghostwriter Notes is a great replacement for the traditional notebook. It would work well for students, work meetings or conferences. The magnification view is helpful for writing and its nice to have a variety of tools to use for writing, highlighting and drawing.

The only negative is the interface which is good, but could be better. You get used to the controls quickly but I had to search to find the eraser under the “Pens” menu and was surprised when the up/down arrows at the top let you import and export your notebooks. I expected to jump to the top or the bottom of the page.

There’s also no support for the swipe gesture to turn the page. There’s a little slider to move back and forth through pages, but it’s not as natural of a motion as swiping. These few drawbacks take away from the experience but they don’t diminish my enthusiasm for the app. The developer has a support page and is very responsive to customers so hopefully these quirks will be addressed in future versions. This responsiveness, in my opinion, means the developer is serious about the app and will work hard to improve any deficiencies and add new features. Ghostwriter Notes is available for US$4.99 from the App Store.

Chris Ware is an amazing cartoonist out of Chicago, and he’s done a lot of work with McSweeney’s, the literary journal run by novelist Dave Eggers and his company. Now, Ware has released an iPad-only comic, released inside the McSweeney’s app, and co-developed with Spaces of Play, the studio behind the recent iOS game Spirits. The comic is called Touch Sensitive, and it’s apparently 14 pages of art and animations by Ware, featuring his great style and pace.

The piece itself is a 99 cent purchase inside the McSweeney’s app, which is a free download available now. There’s a lot of other content in there, too, including a month long subscription to their service called The Small Chair, featuring stories, essays, interview, and other works from the McSweeney’s stable. If you haven’t checked the app out yet, you should definitely pick it up.

And the Ware comic is a great first purchase in there, too — it’s completely exclusive to the iPad, so this is your only chance to read it.

Today Adobe announced new versions of its consumer flagship photo and video editing applications. Photoshop Elements 10 adds new features including 100 paint and effects patterns, depth of field simulation, and the ability to find photos that contain certain objects, like your dog or a hat. Photoshop Elements 10 also heavily borrows sharing features from Apple’s iPhoto ’11 software including the ability to tag Facebook friends right from within the app and instant upload to Facebook and Flickr.

Adobe Premiere Elements 10 further borrows features from Apple’s iMovie ’11 video editing software such as still photo panning and zooming (Ken Burns Effect), automatic color enhancement and correction, and movie themes. Premiere Elements 10 does add some cool new features that iMovie ’11 lacks however, including the ability to tag Facebook friends in your video, the ability to quickly find certain objects in your shots, and the ability to export to AVCHD to burn HD-quality movies to standard DVDs.

Both Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10 are available today for US$99.99 each, or $149 for both. Existing users can purchase upgrades of the applications for $79 each or $119 for both. Currently Photoshop Elements 10 and Premiere Elements 10 are only available in store or online. No word yet if either app will hit the Mac App Store, though Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 Editor is currently available on the Mac App Store for $79.
