Opal is the first in an Ambient Electronica installment called The Color Series. Opal comes in 2 versions, Full or Chill (both 2:40 in length). Full provides a very wide dynamic range that starts with Wurlitzer, Piano and Effects, later adding in Synths and eventual Drums, Sub Bass and Electric Guitar. This track goes from a subtle ambient pad to a huge groove full of energy from top to bottom, while still maintaining it’s subtlety.
The dynamics in this song make it a game changer aesthetic for those in need of Ambient Electronica in their projects. The slight drama and tension that is created in the beginning resolves beautifully by the end of the song.
