pirate adventure is a piece that takes the listener on a journey. first it starts out as well, sneaky. exactly the way pirates are. at this point there is also an almost playful energy about it. then it breaks down into a more sinister section that is filled with brass and double basses. it’s quite scary actually! Finally this piece rounds of into something adventurous – as if a great battle was being fought where it climaxes to a very abrupt end.
