Percussion madness is inspired by a walk through the bustling 42nd St. in New York, the sounds and beat of the people, the traffic and mainly the music played by immigrants on tins and cans, based on the beats of their country origin, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico etc.
This patterns from the street transformed into a minimalistic creation using similar beat patterns which repeat themselves in slight variations and movements, like the street itself.
