FANFARE OVERTURE
DESCRIPTION
This is a rendition of a segment of the opening Overture from the opera ‘Carmen’ by Bizet, one of the most instantly recognizable pieces in music history.
This extremely well-known piece is not an original composition by me. However, it is in the public domain, and as a result, this is a performance of the piece that you can use once you have purchased a license.
The music has an extremely catchy and highly identifiable melody, played primarily in the strings at first. At the climax of each reprise of the melody, the trumpets enter with a loud bombastic fanfare that brings each segment to a close. Underneath the melody the orchestra is chugging away providing emphasis and support to the melody.
The piece has a celebratory and jolly mood throughout, and would obviously suit projects with that sort of feel.
