Genosphere Alpha
An epic, synth filled science fiction themed piece. In three sections with strong powerful motifs and melodies. The Genosphere…Earth’s Space Research biosphere on the Moon…during a failed experiment suffers a scientific catastrophic explosion of electromagnetic radiation, the blast force of which propels the Moon like an enormous rocket, propelling it out of Earth orbit and into deep space at fantastic speed, thus stranding the helpless personnel stationed on Genosphere Alpha. During their interstellar journey, the Alphans encounter an array of alien civilizations, dystopian societies, and mind-bending phenomena previously unseen by humanity. Before you ask….yes I enjoyed the TV show Space 1999 when I was a kid!

Pulsating Futuristic Chilled
An atmospheric journey through an ocean of synths, cascading patterns and motifs. Chilled and relaxed with reflective melancholy. The piece builds as a glorious electric guitar motif is introduced…soaring through the sonic landscape with distinctive voice and character. A powerful uplifing piece, pulsating and developing with life, inspiration and motivational energy.

Black Tentacles
This is a kind of dark, brooding funky groove with an edge about it. Alien black tentacles search through the mists and fog to find their prey. Evil forces lurk in the darkness and in the shadows for the unwary traveller. Mysteries from ancient times. Unexplored and undiscovered knowledge bring great horror and fear. It will loop to make a longer version but not from the beginning. You would have to extend it by cutting at the first repeat and then looping that. It should be easy enough though if needed.

Wildlife One
Fast paced electronic and beat driven piece. Using synth effects and a natural sounding drum kit. Quite simple but really punchy and catchy. Built around a central flute-like motif and driving, pumping FM bass part. This piece was inspired by natural history documentaries but could find many other commercial uses for any project needing a positive, energetic background theme.

Chrysalids
This piece twists and turns around it’s central synthetic flute motifs, slowly evolving in subtle ways with clever harmonic development and delicate structure. Following an AB repeating pattern this intricate, interesting piece of electronica suggests a retro nostalgic sound of the future. Inspired by the John Wyndham science fiction novel of similar title, where mind reading mutants emerge from hiding much like a butterfly emerges from a cocoon into something beautiful and magnificent.

Genosphere Gamma
A subtle futuristic sounding piece of atmospheric background music. Journey into the unknown. Explore the mysteries of the universe and outer space. Travel into uncharted territory, to the bottom of the deepest darkest oceans. Visit sites of ancient lore and knowledge on a voyage of discovery and learning. Communicate with new species, uncovering the great wonders of the cosmos. Vast chasms in alien landscapes, doors to other dimensions and worlds. Let this scientific, undulating, pulsating soundscape be your guide.

Sci Fi Bass Groove
This is a simple, funky, futuristic sounding groove. Featuring a pulsating high energy synth bass line and supplemented by some subtle effects over a strong driving, energetic drum beat. Ideal for background music or voice over work as it is clean and repeats without being too obvious or boring. I think the piece is quite uplifting and motivational and could be used in such a project as well.

Language Timothy
This is a groovy electronic synth, drums and bass pattern. It is positive and motivational and could be used in a number of interesting ways. It is uplifting, clean and simple. It doesn’t feature a strong motif and as such would make excellent background music. It is a short piece and is designed to be looped. I have included two files. Because of the way the synth arpeggio works, it is hard to create this as a clean loop with a clean start, so I have included an extension loop file which works seamlessly as an add on or can in fact be used on its own (it just has a slightly weaker start than if used with the main file).

Stanley and the Garden of Mystery
A grooving experimental funky piece with jazz piano musings. A relaxed, cool, lounge feel with an air of mystery and intrigue about it. Featuring complicated, yet subtle, clever use of harmony and layering. The piece is quite intricate and progressive in it’s construction, the theme is quite daring in it’s use of melody, winding, intertwined between the pulsating, flowing groove.

Top Secret
Cool lounge, grooving and soulful. Built around a wonderful, catchy retro vintage synth bass line…this funky theme has a terrific vibe and feel, in part due to the live playing of all parts so they connect and stay cool and natural. The guitar line hints at 1970’s detective and investigation TV programmes with a nostalgic tip of the cap, whilst the piano takes the tune into more subtle directions of fusion and jazz.
