This small ensemble loop has a very cartoon-like, danger feel to to it. It begins with a heavy pizzicato string pattern that develops into a dark and ominous theme. The second section of this piece breaks from the darkness into a brighter and more positive theme. The intention is to illustrate light beyond the darkness or even to portray a hero overcoming a villain/boss.
