With the 2012 Olympics upon us, I wanted to write something that was energetic, self-perpetuating, and driven. Almost mechanical if you like! This tune, “Sporting Future” features all these elements… it is pacey, constantly weaving in and out of detailed and intricate musically rythmic patterns, and still holds onto an anthemic atmosphere. There is plenty of excitement in this track, which gives the feeling of a race, or performance, where there is a challenge to be met – a prize to be won!
There are so many different elements to this piece to list, so I will just leave it for you to listen for yourself, and as always I hope, ..
