This is an cinematic orchestral track with an obvious oriental flavour. The track begins with a very spacious theme played on a Chinese Erhu Violin, which is then complemented by the addition of choral ambience reminiscent of Mongolia’s iconic Khoomii thoat singing. A full harmonic spectrum is then provided by the orchestral strings as the track progresses to emotive theme that alludes to adventure and conquest particularly in the vast and majestic land of the Mongolia, and attempts to encompass the beautiful yet unforgiving nature of the plains and the desert. The strength of the french horn ensemble and the warlike rhythm of the orchestral drums brings the piece to its emotive climax. The conclusion is an eerie reiteration of the major theme at the beginning played by the Erhu Violin accompanied by the ghostly harmonics of the Tibetan Singing Bowl, leaving a taste of mystery in the mouth of the listener.
