A lush and atmospheric orchestral piece featuring a String Quartet, Bass Flute, Bass Clarinet, Harp and Timpani.
This a slow, swooning piece, with a certain dreamlike quality about it. The darker chords ebb and flow while clashing with the poly-rhythms of the harp that come and go. The violin plays with portamento, giving a sense of unease and haunting tension. There is some pain and sadness here.
The piece meanders around, direction-less, until settling uneasily on a regular pattern from which it fades out.
This is ideal background music to dreamlike or surreal scenes.
