Ahoy, mates! All aboard? It’s a beautiful, sunny morning, and there’s work a-plenty to do!
This whimsical little rag found its inspiration in the busy salt water harbors. It opens with the deep bellowing of mammoth freighters in from long journeys abroad.
Our little tug works the harbor joyfully, its happy captain barking orders as the tug eases the barges from dock to dock amidst the giant vessels, the cagey seagulls overhead, the barnacle-encrusted piers, the many smells wafting about the harbor, and the sun smiling on the scene below.
Like all rags, this one will evoke in the listener a certain nostalgia for the early Twentieth Century.
