We need a programmer experienced with penny auction sites and preferably a progammer that has worked on sites that are currently live. We need help customizing one of the below scripts:
– phppennyauction.com
– ajaxphppennyauction.com
– pennyauctionscript.com
If you are familiar with one of those scripts, please specifiy which one. And if possible, please show us an example of such a site that you helped to setup/customize from one of those scripts.
Also, you must be very familiar with comet servers, AJAX Push Engines, etc. for streaming and pushing live content for sites such as penny auctions that require many requests and can cause overload for the server if not setup optimally. Your expertise in this area will be needed for advice on the most optimal and efficient server setup as well as for deciding on the most efficient script.
This posting is mainly for the first phase which will be to help us select the script, install on the server, fix any errors/bugs, and to make sure server setup and scripting is most fast/efficient/optimal.
If we work together well, then second phase, will be to customize the layout/design (we will provide all graphics, you implement with the code) and to change/add any features/functionality. If we still continue to work well, we would like to maintain long-term partnership and have you regularly maintain, add new features, and help with updating the site.
