Html & JS Error, ‘Response’: The status provided (0) is outside the range [200, 599]

What im trying to do kinda add a proxy to my website to bypass my schools firewalls. Im a little new too JS and need some help with this. The Error I get is RangeError: Failed to construct 'Response': The status provided (0) is outside the range [200, 599] when typing a url in the search bar.
