First qualification is mandatory: you have successfully implemented a WordPress-based template for an EAN/IAN affiliate (Travelnow) using their custom XML flowcharts and instructions. I will thoroughly test your site/template using the EAN/IAN standards.
Second: I need to build a custom front end search that will filter by 5 datapoints PLUS location/latitude-longitude, to generate <hotelid> list and start the EAN/IAN XML flowchart/process from there. Flow would be:
1. A customer searches by 5 attributes that query my company’s Excel database
2. Generates a string of 50-100 of the EAN/IAN <HotelId> numbers
3. That list of <hotelID> starts the typical EAN/IAN XML flowchart/search process
Simplified example: I have my own data on 50,000 hotels that says whether the hotel is red, yellow, or blue. A customer will search for all red hotels within 50 miles of Omaha, Nebraska to stay on January 1, 2011. My database should generate a <hotelid> list of red hotels to start the EAN/IAN search for January 1, 2011 availability.
The search needs to be fast (less than 6 seconds for results) and be a search that can be triggered from desktop as well as mobile-friendly website for all phones (i.e. no flash please).
All design schemes and functions and data are done, just need someone who has experience working with the EAN/IAN affiliate network on a custom XML integration. Thanks!
