Basically this is how I want my e-commerce retail website to function:
When a Consumer gets online to my website and places an order on my website the order is automatically sent to the proper vendor/manufacturer or supplier. When the vendor receives the order the product is picked, packed and shipped by the vendor directly to the consumer. The order packing slip is branded to identify my store (consumer receives the order with my brand name etc on) from shipment.
What ever application used should also handle the financial process completely. When the order is placed the credit card is verified and the amount is approved. The order is sent to the vendor for fulfilment. When the vendor closes the order at the time of shipping the credit card is charged. The application then is able to complete process. Commissions are paid to my store, and payments are made to the vendor.
