I need a flash program that can generate a printable certificate for winners based on the data in a text file (DB or flat DB). The certificate will use one template and will be the same for all winners. The goal is to fill this template with the data using a flash program. We believe flash is the best way to do this but we are also open other solutions (PDF or PHP).
Here is an example of what would be included in the the data file:
Winner Name: Mario’s Italian Restaurant
Winner City/Country: New York
Winning Category: Best Italian Restaurant
Winning Year: 2010
The goal is to have the winner come to our site and print their own certificate. Here is the flow.
1. User comes to the website is presented with a drop box with these options:
a.Select the Year
b.They select the city/country
c.They select the category
2. The winner or list of winners will display on the page. In some cases you can have multiple winners for a city/category.
3. The user selects the winner and the certificate is displayed with the winner name, winner city, winner category, the year. This data is pulled from the the data file (DB) and put in the certificate template.
4. The user is then given the option to print the certificate.
The criteria for the flash certificate:
– It should look very professional in color. We will provide the logo and names. We will provide examples.
– It should have the ability to add unlimited winners
– It should also be of a good enough resolution that it can be printed on a standard ink jet or similar printer.
You must have the ability to communicate 1-2 times per day by email, messenger or on our internal project page.
