Collection of three 3D models of Balance Ball Office Chairs. Ball diameter: Chair 1 – 55 cm (21.7 in), Chairs 2 and 3 – 52 cm (20.5 in).
MODEL
Chair models is made from 7 to 10 polygonal objects.
Chair wheels are saved as separate entities with properly adjusted pivot points. It is easy to rotate them along vertical axis to give to the chair more natural look.
Models are made mainly of quads and triangles. Small amount of N-gons (less than 0,2% of all polygons) were used where appropriate.
Polycount:
Chair 1 –
Polys – 43 455
Verts – 43 608
Chair 2 –
Polys – 34 914
Verts – 34 935
Chair 3 –
Polys – 35 832
Verts – 36 070
MATERIALS
Materials are prepared for Corona, V-ray and Scanline renderers.
Scanline and FBX files has only basic materials and will NOT render the same as in preview images.
OBJ file has no materials, but has UVW coordinates intact.
Note, that the model’s materials extensively uses 3ds max’s procedural maps and cannot be reliably transfered to other 3D applications. Therefore i can’t grant exact look outside of 3ds max. If you use another 3D app, you’ll have to recreate materials on your own.
TEXTURES
Chair 1 has 3 high quality textures of 2048×2048 resolution. Chair 2 has 1 high quality textures of 512×512 resolution.
Textures are saved in JPG and PNG formats.
Textures are collected in one archive and are delivered in separate file.
SCENE
Model is scaled to proper real world dimensions. Scene units are in cm.
Objects, materials and textures has meaningful names.
Transformations has been reset and model is placed at scene origin [0, 0, 0 XYZ].
Texture paths are set to relative. Just unzip texture archive into a folder where the model is located and your 3D app should pick up them automatically.
