Hi. We have a huge site built on the CakePHP framework. The site is on a dedicated server with hostgator and has well over 200,000 products listed. At the moment the site loads slowly and adding more products is a pain. Navigation has also become very slow.
What we currently need is a skilled database developer, with experience in the Cake framework to diagonise and fix or perhaps redevelop the database.
What we intend to achieve is a site that loads faster both on the backend and the front end. The site must be prepared to support over 10 million products without a cough.
You must be able to demonstrate that you can do this job and perhaps with refrence to a site that is supporting huge amount of products on a database you developed.
