I would like to set up an affiliate system (like Comission Junction or LinkShare) where I can manage both publishers and advertisers. It should have the following functionality:
For Publishers:
– Log in to create account
– Display advertisers in the program as well as their commission levels
– Apply to programs
– Get marketing material – such as text links, banners
– Reports section – to track commissions, clicks, impressions
– Manage payments
For Advertisers:
– Log in to create account
– View publishers in their program
– Access to reports
– Manage payments
The above is not an exhaustive list but an indication of what I think is needed. There may be other functionality that I am not aware of so feel free to add on to the functionality as required.
