I currently have NFL football pool software. I need a few modifications/enhancements.
1. Spreads – Software currently is basic you pick the winner. I will like to add 2 fields that a admin can enter spread (ex. 2 or 2 1/2, 5 etc..)and the team that is favorited by that spread.(see SpreadA.jpg).
When admin hits edit button it will store in the DB, and display on the users pick chart. See SpreadB.jpg.
2. Calculate Results – Currently results are gathered just by a user selecting the winner. It now needs to factor in the spread above. Ex. If you look at images it shows new orleans saints to win by 3.5. So lets say the score ended up being New Orleans 21 Minn. 19. All users who picked Minn would get the point because New Orleans didn’t cover the 3.5 spread. If minn wins then all users who select minn get point no matter if by 1 or more points. If New Orleans had won by 3.5 (technically 4) or more points than all users who selected New Orleans would have gotten the point.
3. Add TieBreaker – I need addition Block added with the ability to add text. Also add label to both radio buttons for picks) See TieA.jpg. When admin clicks edit it should store in the DB and display as the last block (bottom) see TieB.jpg. This block should be edited and have differant question and label each week. A new block will be provided and edited for each of the 17 weeks. Old week data will remain in the blocks.
4. Results – Need to update picks from 16 to 17. When editing scores we need to add the 17th (tiebreaker above) so that it will calculate and give users the 17 point. I would like this field separate in the DB so that we can calculate how many tiebreaker questions a user got right.
5. Standings – I would like to add a section that will display users who have answered the most correct tiebreaker questions. “By tiebreaker” see stats.jpg
6. I need cutoff and picks locked to be 1 hr before the first game of each week (that includes Thursday games). Currently it cuts off at start of 1st game. Needs to be 1 hr before. Clocks need to be adjusted to this change as well.
