I am setting up an seo link building service and need a script made that has all of the features listed below.
the main site will be wordpress based but the script can be made on html pages as long as we can customise the html pages look to match the wordpress theme.
There are 4 areas of the site,
client front end (order process)
client back end (client area to track order process)
staff login area (for staff to login, see all orders)
admin area (for myself to login, add staff etc)
I will explain the features of each area and how they work in more detail here.
Client front end –
The client will be able to order a range of services all priced individually, they will have the option to select thier desired qty of each service.
Once ordered they will go to paypal and pay, then return to a thank you page where they will enter thier order details. This page can also contain thier login details or the details can be automatically emailed. whichever is cheapest to program.
The main points here are, the script must know what each line of the order is and recored the data provided for each service in the thank you page, must create the order in the system, auto create some login credentials for the client and email them to the client.
Client back end –
In the client back end once logged in they will have a list of thier order numbers with a summary. The list will need to show each seperate item from each order. Next to each item will be the status of this particular order line, this will be updated by the staff in the staff area. when completed it will show an icon for them to download a report from with their completed order data. This list must keep the latest orders at the top of the list. The area should also have a search function, to allow the client to search for previous orders by order number, url, or service.
Staff area –
The staff area will allow the staff to login and work thier way through processing each order line. They will need to have a drop down selection list next to each order line which updates the orders status in the client backend area. each order line will need to have the ability to upload the client report as a excel file or word file for the client to download from the client backend area once each order line is complete. each order line will need to have a notes section. Each order line will need to either display the information collected when the client filled in the order form (url, keyowrds, qty etc) or have an option for the staff member to view this data in another page.
Admin area –
will need to have all the staff area features in addition to the following:
the ability to create or delete a staff member
see the current order queue – number of orders outstanding
see all previous orders and which staff member completed.
see sales value for day, week, month and year
I do not have a huge budget for this script, but will have multiple projects in the future for whichever programmer lands this job.
I am open to suggestions on any better ways that you can think of to create and manage this operation.
