Back again with my next weekly 3d model! This time it’s a little “historical” with a cassette tape like those used to play audio in a tape player. I tried to go all out on detail with this one, making it almost exactly like some real life tapes I had. Materials are fairly basic (with the tape having a changeable white color), and the model itself lies near 10,000 tris.
Thanks for checking out this model!
P.S. I use Blender to do all my animating and 3d modeling. Because of that, some of the extensions don’t export very well (or just don’t import well back into Blender; they might import better into other programs); there are generally a few issues with the formats other than .blend. If you have Blender at all, I recommend just using the .blend file; it’s all set up and everything. – 3DS: Imports with flat shading and without (complete; all the material nodes vanished) materials, and with the normals inside out. The faces are triangulated. – OBJ: Imports without (complete) materials. – FBX: Imports without (complete) materials, and with the normals inside out.
