We need to upgrade Magento from 1.3.1 to the newest 1.4.1 and move servers. This needs to done in a testing environment to make sure everything works fine and there are no glitches before we switch to a live 1.4.1 environment. We have multiple websites on Magento and had issues with a trial upgrade getting multiple domains to work on 1.4.1 as the method for doing so has changed.
Should just be a simple mysql dump, install on the other server, ftp all the files and check for issues, then we’ll migrate the domains.
If project runs smoothly and on time, others will follow.
