Working with a client, but don’t have much time available myself to get this done.
Client has chosen to run with a WordPress theme which we then bought. We’ve installed it and found that as it’s so customisable, it barely resembles the live preview we saw before purchasing.
It needs setting up with colours, images (once posts and pages are created), probably some image resizing, widgets and layout to basically be the same as the preview we showed our client.
We took a framegrab of the live demo and Photoshoped in some of our clients elements to show what it ‘could’ look like. So the result needs to look pretty similar to the attached image.
Right now it barely resembles this at all (although we’ev put very little content in yet either).
We will supply some text, some images (as those in the preview were just examples not supplied by theme author), video (youtube – theme handles this natively but we’ve also installed a plugin anyway) – enough to flesh the site out a bit and make it look like our mockup. Currently there are some posts, pages, and even a News page (which doesn’t show up yet – don’t know why. Also don’t know if that News page feature is exclusive to this theme or is a WP3 feature?)
We will also provide you with the Theme’s documentation from the theme author.
It’s possible you may need to know some PHP and CSS to help achieev this – I don’t know.
Finally, we are currently hosting the site on our servers with a referenced domain, as we are yet to transfer the .com address to our systems, we will need to also update the SQL database to reflect the true .com address once we have transferred this in.
Think that’s all.
We just need this work doing by Monday 9th – Tuesday 10th latest.
