MK Alerts replace the core Joomla system message with awesome popup alerts. 4 types of different alerts are available: success, warnings, info and error.
This plugin comes with a shortcode system to rapidly fire a popup everywhere in your Joomla website simply using the shortcode {mkal This is my awesome alert!}
You can write more complex shortcode to create one of the 4 different alert types (success, info, warning, error) and pass a function as callback of a confirm message, for example to inform your visitors about cookies and ask them to accept.
