Open Source iOS Component For Displaying Panoramic Photos With Tilt Gesture Scrolling

I’ve mentioned a few UI components inspired by Facebook’s Paper app such as HAPaperViewController which provides a nice scrollable interface for presenting images with stories.

Here’s an open source Swift based photo viewing component submitted by Sameh Mabrouk allowing the user to view images wider than the screen using a tilt gesture called Panoramic.

Panoramic is inspired by Facebook’s Paper app, and uses Core Motion for handling the tilt gesture. There is also an indicator on the bottom of the screen to indicate where the user is in the image.

Here is an image from the readme showing off the effect:

You can find the Swift Panoramic on Github here.

You can find the Objective-C version Panorama on Github here.

A nice panoramic photo viewing component.
