I need a programmer to update software that someone else wrote for me.
BUDGET: $1000 MAX!! May be negotiable with extremely good reason, but would like to keep it under that amount.
*******NOTE: I WILL ONLY WORK WITH A PROGRAMMER IN THE UNITED STATES THAT I CAN COMMUNICATE WITH REGULARLY BY TELEPHONE AND/OR IM!!!!!!
The website is www.biddiver.com and is functioning. The changes I need are as follows:
Admin Panel:
Ability to export user data, auction data, bid pack purchase data, earnings data and product catalog data to MS office (excel and/or word).
Better user data interface, I need the ability to be able to sort by any data field and better profile details from the member manager. Also, the history of the users purchases/wins/bids placed needs to be exportable to excel.
Ability to add pics in other than jpeg format to the product catalog.
Built in text editing function throughout the admin area is cumbersome, I would like it to be more “MS Word-like”
I need a counter to capture the visitor stats, both repeat and unique by day, week, month, year etc…
I want the product catalog to be more organized by categories instead of all the products lumped together. Also, currently I am unable to delete products from the catalog, I want this ability.
Front Page:
Much of the “english” was obviously written by someone with that as their second language, I would like the grammar/spelling/punctuation “americanized”
The timer is currently only running in hours:min:sec, I would like to be able to add auctions far out in the future, so for ones over 24 hours away, I would like it to count in days:hours:min:sec, seeing an auction hundreds of hours away is a turn off to customers.
I need the front page and auction pages to be editable by me without having to find a new programmer every time I want to make small tweaks. That said, I need the logo design changed, the social media buttons moved, a google ads box added to the home page, some pictures changed.
I would like the lower of the two frames on the front page laid out differently (we can discuss after project is awarded).
Auctions Pages:
Need it to display the locking $ figure (again, we’ll discuss after awarding).
The bidding history needs to be scrollable, not just show the last 10-15 bids placed.
The google ads box needs to be relocated to the top of the page.
Finally:
An overall assessment of the software platform, I’m beginning to have my doubts that it can handle the business load that I envision happening in the next 6-12 months.
