Open Source iOS Library For Checking To See How An App Looks To The Color Blind

Some form of color blindness affects a large portion of the population, and here’s a library called Vangogh from Gil Shapira that makes it easy to test an app for people with different levels of color blindness.

Vangogh applies a filter onto your app, and this allows you to simulate color vision deficiencies.  A nice interface is provided for easily switching between filters within a running app.

This animation from the readme shows the Vangogh library in action:

You can find Vangogh on Github here.

A nice app for checking to see whether the colors in an app may be causing trouble for those who have difficulty viewing colors.
