I’ve mentioned a number of slide-out menu components, most recently BTSimpleSideMenu that supports icons, and scrolling between multiple pages of menu selections.
Here’s an open source component for creating a slide-out side menu that is created in swift called ENSwiftSideMenu from Evgeny Nazarov.
The side menu component supports the slide-out gesture, has bouncing animations created using the UIDynamic framework, and has a blurring effect.
